My First Semester

We think that college life means enjoying life to the fullest and partying hard.but college is where things get serious.It is like a whole different level of education. School life is nothing compared to college. College life is completely opposite what I thought. After passing from higher secondary school I wanted to go to college to take another huge step towards my career. 

Although I was looking forward to go to college, my first semester was hard time to go by because of new people, new classes, and new teachers. In my life I continuously meet new people every now and then and college was no difference. So the first day of college I walked into a classroom completely full with stranger. I had no idea about them, where they were from what kind of personality they have. But eventually got to know some of them as weeks passed by. They were actually very nice to me even if I don't know them before.

Subject that you get in college are way more advanced than the ones in higher secondary. Sometimes you can feel it similar what we learn in school. The most interesting subject was spoken English which was basically it was a practical subject and first day, first lecture was spoken lecture. In this we have to give speech, dialogue , debate and such things. In college we have 2 ISA(Inter Semester Assessment) of 10 marks and at the end of semester we have semester end exam of 80 marks total 100 marks each subject.

The end of 1st semester was stressed full as I had given my semester end exam and I know that I had not given my 100% to it. As I was not serious with my studies. First semester was a turning time for me. As I was put one step towards future career.
